Tax Exempt Account Request

Non-profit, school, church, municipal, or other tax-exempt buyers can request account approval before ordering commercial labels and nameplates.

Before ordering: Please request approval before placing a tax-exempt order. Approved buyers must check out using the same email address connected to their approved Lightline customer account so tax can be removed automatically at checkout.

How it works

Tax-exempt account approval in four steps.

Create or sign into your account

Use the same email address you plan to use at checkout.

Submit the request form

Send your organization details so we can match the request to your account.

Email the certificate

Send a valid tax-exempt certificate to Lightline for review.

Wait for approval

Requests are reviewed within 24 hours. Once approved, place the order using the approved email.

Important

Please do not place the order until approval is complete.

If documentation is incomplete, expired, invalid, or does not match the purchasing organization, Lightline will contact you for corrections before the account is marked tax exempt.

Tax-exempt approval is not automatic. Lightline will review the request and update the customer account after the paperwork is accepted.
